 Wild Care Nepal published 'HECx Instructors Training Manual' with support of project  'Promoting Human-Elephant Coexistence in Central Terai of Nepal' funded  by the Rufford foundation The Manual serve as a resource book for the trainers to conduct human-elephant coexistence events at school and communities.

Brochure on human-elephat coexistence - update

Through the support of Rufford Foundation, the project on human-elephant coexistence led by Dr. Rama Mishra, prepared a brochure with information on elephant conservation, causes of human-elephant conflict, preventive and mitigation measures of human-elephant conflict. These brochures are distributed to local community members across the elephant range in Nepal.

Radio Jingles broadcasting from different FM radios in Central Nepal

We updated the Radio Jingle in Maithili and Nepali language and started broadcasting in different FM stations in Central Nepal (Bara and Dhanusha). The jingle has information on elephant behavior and safety measures to avoid confrontation with elephants, saving life of both people and elephants. Updated radio Jingles on HECx

We updated the Radio Jingle in Nepali language  from previous project, and started broadcasting five times a day through Saptakoshi FM, Itahari. The broadcast was started from August 2022 and it will be continued for a year. The jingle has information on how to avoid elephant attacks and live in harmony with elephants.
